A little back history first...
My studies in visual arts began when I was child under the instruction of Pat Witt at the Barn Studio of Art. Since then I've done many different jobs and types of work over the years. I've had a few career changes along the way as well. I studied graphic arts in high school and went straight to work in the printing industry. Eventually I went back to school to earn a degree in art with teacher certification. I taught at the Barn Studio of Art all through art school and for several years afterward. Ultimately, I taught visual art at a large urban public school system for 26 years and also went back to school to earn another degree in glass art. Today I'm very excited to be returning to my first love of art and fulfilling my lifelong dream to work as an artist.
